Our advanced diploma practitioner level aromatherapy course includes therapeutic prescriptions, massage and lymphatic drainage and is taught over 12 monthly classes and requires a commitment to home study to supplement your learning. You must have studied our essentials of aromatherapy course with us prior to embarking upon this advanced practitioner journey. Most people consider an aromatherapist to be a masseur using blended oils, but this course qualifies you to be so much more and combines aromatherapy, massage, therapeutic value of essential oils, anatomy and physiology and botanical studies to give you training in essential oils like no other. This includes 144 hours of home study in Anatomy & Physiology and covers all the requirements of the National Occupational Standards. This course looks far beyond the perfume bottle and explores the therapeutic properties of the oils and their interaction with the body systems. You study many applications including full body massage. This course is equivalent to an academic level 4. Upon successful completion you are able to use the designatory letters Dip.APA after your name (Diploma in the Advanced Practice of Aromatherapy).
We estimate 20 hours of home study each month to supplement your learning. Each lesson is supported with comprehensive manuals, workbooks and charts with an online learning platform also packed with more free e-resources.
This course requires a £120 deposit followed by 12 monthly payments of £35. At the end of the course you recieve a printed book containing valuable references from the course. You can contact us to make these arrangements.

Our essentials of aromatherapy weekend training is a pre-requisite of training and takes place on 2/3 February 2019 and also on 3/4 August 2019.
